Ambitions Flying Club is shortly providing an institute for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training programme, which is approved by “Director General of Civil Aviation” Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, and covers both the streams,
1) Mechanical and
2) Avionics
at Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (BAMEL) Level. The BAMEL is essentially required qualification to work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Airlines or General Aviation Organizations.
An aeroplane is a very complex flying- machine, the design of which takes years of scientific research, testing and evaluation of different design aspects and requires highly sophisticated and state of art system to finally build it. The high performance supersonic and subsonic wide body jet liners used by Airlines Industry today are built using ’state of the art’ technology and range of special materials including Composites for greater reliability and safety. For continued airworthiness, these flying machines have to be maintained on day-to-day basis by specially trained expert Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Technicians under strict control of, Airworthiness Controlling Authority. In India, the Director General of Civil Aviation (D.G.C.A) a Government of India authority is vested with the power to control and guide the Airworthiness process of an Aircraft to assure and ensure its safety.
Here lies the role of an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer), who is responsible to certify the safety and airworthiness of an Aircraft before it takes- off. In short, no Aircraft can fly anywhere or even take off unless it is properly certified by an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), appropriately licensed and authorized to do so by the Airworthiness Authority in India (D.G.C.A). You know now in a nutshell, the kind of job and responsibility an AME has to undertake or just how important they are in Aviation Industry.
Naturally, to undertake such a huge responsibility, an AME has to be specially trained with perfection as per the norms laid down by Airworthiness Controlling Authority i.e. D.G.C.A. in India and he must mandatory acquire professional AME license, to become an AME. Ambitions Flying Club makes the task simpler and assures you a career in Aviation as an AME with full authority under strict guidance of our experts. The AME course is proposed to be designed for three years spanning over 6 semesters in a highly planned manner. Each semester comprises theory and practical training on equal basis, which is targeted to provide pre planned level of technical knowledge and proficiency amongst the trainees through systematically arranged curriculum and proven quality control mechanism.
Adequate care has been taken regarding constant up gradation of technical information and mandatory ‘On Job Training’ on the flying Aircraft and other associated system as required by the D.G.C.A. to appear for AME license examination conducted by them. This is an important aspect and focal point of the whole training programme which itself highlights our motive and intention to build young career till they have achieved working level of proficiency and are fit enough to be accepted by the Aviation Industry.
The institute possesses one of the most modern infrastructures such as, well-equipped classrooms with LCD Projectors, Workshops, Technical Library and Laboratories along with its own heavy transport Aircraft.
